Abstract

Setiap usaha bisnis memiliki proses produksi yang berbeda – beda dan di dalam lingkungan kerja perusahaan tidak terlepas dari pemakaian alat, mesin, material, serta fasilitas kerja. Kalangan usaha industri menengah berkontribusi sangat besar dalam perkembangan ekonomi di Indonesia. UMKM Eiko Graphics merupakan usaha bisnis jasa sablon kaos. Usaha ini mempunyai tenaga kerja yang masih merangkap kerjaaan di stasiun yang lainya, sehingga adanya waktu pengerjaan yang terlalu lama dalam proses kerja penyablonan. Pendekatan simulasi menjadi metode penyelesaian yang disarankan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja sistem dan memilih skenario terbaik hingga diperoleh waktu kerja atau waktu proses produksi yang minimum dan efektif sebagai target perusahaan. Simulasi menggunakan arena juga diperlukan untuk mensimulasikan usulan perbaikan. Dalam waktu proses produksinya masih ada proses yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama dalam pengerjaanya. Teridentifikasi pada proses pemotongan kain. Berdasarkan dengan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Sehingga, skenario perbaikan yang direkomdasikan dan disarankan adalah skenario 1, yaitu dengan merubah sistem kerja menjadi 2 orang karyawaan eksisting akan dialokasikan kusus pada proses pembuatan pola dan menambahkan jumlah tenaga kerja atau karyawan sejumlah 2 orang kusus pada proses pemotongan kain serta menambah 1 mesin cutting. Karena memperoleh hasil signifikan yang sangat minimum dalam waktu proses produksi.
