Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Investment Opportunity Set dan Free Cash Flow secara parsial dan simultan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen yang diproksikan dengan Dividen Payout Ratio (DPR) pada perusahaan sub sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. periode penelitia yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitudari tahun 2013-2019. Berdasarkan jenis investigasinya penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan varibel independen IOS dan Free cash flow terhadap variabel dependen Kebijakan Dividen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sub sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2013-2019 yang berjumlah 13 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total sampel yang diperoleh berdasarkan kriteria yang ada yaitu 5 perusahaan dengan periode 7 tahun, total sampel penelitian adalah 35 data sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan level of significant 0,05 atau 5%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Investment opportunity set tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen, dan free cash flow berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen.
