Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pandemi covid-19 terhadap firm performance perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2020 sampai 2021. Pemilihan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI kecuali perusahaan keuangan, penelitian ini menggunakan kasus covid-19 kumulatif untuk mengukur firm performance. Firm performance dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua cara yaitu return on asset (ROA) dan return on equity (ROE). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, uji regresi dan uji hipotesis. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa ROA dan ROE perusahaan berhubungan negatif dengan kasus kumulatif secara signifikan pada tingkat 5%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata ROA dan ROE perusahaan turun karena kasus kumulatif yang meroket.
