Abstract

Salah satu produsen pupuk di Indonesia yaitu PT XYZ telah memiliki Terminal Untuk Kepentingan Sendiri (TUKS). Pada perusahaan tersebut, terdapat proses bongkar muat di pelabuhan sebagai penunjang kelancaran proses bisnisnya. Selama proses bongkar muat di pelabuhan berjalan, terdapat permasalahan pada proses bongkar muatan curah kering yaitu adanya kongesti atau antrian kapal. Dampak dari kongesti secara keseluruhan adalah berpengaruh pada biaya - biaya transportasi dan arus kinerja pelabuhan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan perlu adanya analisis pada proses bongkar untuk menentukan perbaikan yang dibutuhkan berdasarkan aspek darat untuk menurunkan kongesti kapal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan simulasi diskrit. Melalui skenario perbaikan 5 yaitu penambahan resource sebanyak 3 dump truck sehingga menjadi 9 dump truck untuk setiap alternatif bongkar yang menggunakan dump truck dan Peningkatan penggunaan alternatif 2 bongkar curah kering sebanyak 10%. Maka didapatkan persentase penurunan total waiting time yang paling oPTimal diperoleh dari skenario 5 yaitu penurunan total waiting time pada proses bongkar alternatif 1 sebesar 25%, alternatif 3 sebsar 30%, alternatif 4 sebesar 50% dan alternatif 6 sebesar 50%.
