Abstract

Dalam menghadapi era globalisasi yang dipenuhi dengan persaingan yang semakin ketat, peran teknologi menjadi sangat penting bagi kelangsungan dan kemajuan perusahaan. Salah satunya PT Petrokimia Gresik sebagai perusahaan di sektor pembuatan pupuk yang bekerja sama dengan penyelenggara pelabuhan Gresik untuk mengelola Terminal Untuk Kepentingan Sendiri (TUKS) di area kerja. TUKS PT Petrokimia Gresik memiliki sistem utama yang disebut Petroport serta beberapa sistem yang digunakan untuk menunjang pekerjaan. Namun, sistem-sistem tersebut belum terkoneksi dengan sistem utama (petroport) sehingga menyebabkan proses yang tidak efisien, penginputan data ganda, pencatatan tidak real time, dan monitoring yang tidak bisa dilakukan dalam satu aplikasi. Selain itu, perusahaan juga belum memliki dokumen yang menggambarkan rencana pengembangan IT jangka Panjang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemanfaatan dukungan SI/TI agar lebih efisien, dengan perencanaan strategis SI/TI menggunakan metode Ward and Peppard dengan beberapa tools seperti analisis building blocks, McFarlan Strategic Grid, analisis SWOT dan analisis business capability untuk memberikan Gambaran mengenai penerapan SI/TI di TUKS Petrokimia Gresik.
