Abstract

PT X, merupakan distributor ban dengan cabang di beberapa kota besar di Indonesia. PT X menghadapi tantangan signifikan terkait dengan keterbatasan moda pengiriman, tarif pengiriman yang tinggi, dan fluktuasi permintaan yang tidak dapat diprediksi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, perlu di lakukan analisis menyeluruh dengan fokus pada optimasi ruang muat truk. Pemanfaatan ruang muat truk saat ini adalah sebesar 47% yang berarti bahwa penggunaan ruang eksisting masih belum optimal. Tarif pengiriman dari 21 proyek eksisting Rp50.903.658,00 yang dianggap masih terlalu tinggi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan analisis optimalisasi pemanfaatan ruang muat truck dan tarif pengiriman. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu space management untuk optimasi ruang muat truck dan perhitungan tarif pengiriman menggunakan pertimbangan Biaya Operasional Kendaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan ruang muat truk meningkat menjadi 58% dan tarif eksisting pengiriman setelah perbaikan turun menjadi Rp37.860.676. Selain itu, analisis menggunakan metode Biaya Operasional Kendaraan (BOK) menunjukkan tarif optimal sebesar Rp27.980.000. Perhitungan BOK menghasilkan penghematan biaya sekitar 27,45% dibandingkan tarif yang ada dan menunjukkan keuntungan sebesar Rp10.692.275. Sehingga Menunjukkan bahwa komponen tarif yang didasarkan pada Biaya Operasional Kendaraan (BOK) lebih ekonomis dan dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk negosiasi harga dengan vendor atau penetapan harga internal yang lebih akurat.
