Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana dynamic capability sumber daya manusia PT BAG dalam merespons ketidakstabilan pasokan gas alam di Plant Lengowangi#1, Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus eksploratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga informan utama (PPIC, SPV Operasi, dan Kepala Operasi), observasi lapangan, serta studi dokumentasi internal. Validitas data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dari HRD. Analisis dilakukan dengan teknik analisis konten berdasarkan teori dynamic capability (Teece et al., 1997), dengan pemaknaan yang lebih kontekstual sesuai dynamic capability versi 2018 (Teece, 2018). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dynamic capability sumber daya manusia PT BAG terbentuk secara kontekstual dalam praktik yang responsif, dan kolaboratif. Dimensi sensing dikembangkan melalui respons proaktif dan koordinasi informal antardivisi; Dimensi seizing terlihat dalam bentuk improvisasi terstruktur, briefing teknis, dan pengambilan keputusan adaptif; Dimensi transforming berjalan melalui pembelajaran kontekstual, rotasi fungsional, dan retensi pengetahuan non-formal. HRD belum berperan strategis dan lebih berfungsi administratif. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa dynamic capability di PT BAG tidak lahir dari restrukturisasi formal, melainkan dari sistem kerja lintas fungsi yang bersifat workable, berbasis pengalaman, dan adaptif terhadap tekanan teknis. Rekomendasi diarahkan pada optimalisasi praktik SDM yang telah terbukti efektif, penataan ulang peran HRD dan kolaborasi fungsional, perbaikan dan penguatan fungsi HRD.
