Abstract

Stabilitas perbankan merupakan dalam mempertahankan ketahanan sektor keuangan. UMKM merupakan sektor yang perlu didukung oleh bank. Bank yang menyalurkan kredit UMKM harus menjaga kestabilannya, indikator kestabilan bank diproksikan melalui NPL. Sejauh pengetahuan penulis, belum ada studi yang mengulas kestabilitas bank dengan faktor kredit UMKM. Disisi lain peran pemerintah punya peran ganda yaitu sebagai institusi yang didorong motif profit sekaligus lembaga yang mendukung program pemerintah salah satunya yaitu penyaluran kredit UMKM, sehingga pada studi ini dijadikan variabel moderasi. Riset ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan kuartalan 20 institusi perbankan yang terdaftar pada OJK tahun 2022–2025, sehingga diperoleh 320 observasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi data panel dengan Fixed Effect Model (FEM) yang diestimasi menggunakan White Cross-Section. Hasil studi mengindikasikan bahwa komposisi kredit UMKM berefek positif terhadap NPL. Selain itu, kepemilikan pemerintah terbukti memperkuat efek positif komposisi kredit UMKM terhadap stabilitas bank. Hasil uji simultan mengindikasikan bahwa seluruh variabel dalam model berefek terhadap NPL. Estimasi Adjusted R-squared pada model moderasi sebesar 61,47% mengindikasikan bahwa model mampu menjelaskan variasi NPL. Disarankan agar studi selanjutnya mempertimbangkan variabel-variabel alternatif yang lebih representative
