Abstract

Fraud pentagon adalah penyempurnaan dari teori Cassey (1973) dan teori Wolfe dan Hermanson (2004) yang dilakukan oleh Crowe pada tahun 2011. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh financial stability, external pressure, financial target, institutional ownership, ineffective monitoring, quality of external auditor, change in auditor, change in director dan frequent number of CEO’s picture terhadap kecurangan laporan keuangan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara tahun 2014-2018 dengan jumlah 144 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan hasil sampel berjumlah 39 perusahaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang berupa laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah financial stability, institutional ownership dan quality of external auditor berpengaruh terhadap kecurangan laporan keuangan.
