Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas industri perbankan pada bank umum konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014-2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 bank umum konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode proposive sampling dengan 4 kriteria sehingga didapatkan 25 bank yang menjadi sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan profitabilitas yang diproksikan dengan Return on Assets (ROA) sebagai variabel dependen. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Beban Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Net Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM) dan Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) sebagai variabel independen. Teknis analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis asumsi klasik, analisis regresi berganda dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa Beban Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) dan Net Interest Margin (NIM) memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Performing Loan (NPL) dan Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas.
