Abstract

Distribusi adalah sebuah proses yang melakukan semua fungsi yang diperlukan untuk mendapatkan produk atau layanan dari penjual ke pembeli akhir. Sehingga distribusi merupakan faktor penting dalam perusahan karena memerlukan biaya operasional yang tinggi dan perannya berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas ekonomi perusahaan. Namun nyatanya banyak kendala yang ditimbulkan pada setiap proses distribusi. PT Burhanudin Ritz merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distribusi tabung gas LPG 3 kg. dalam proses bisnisnya terdapat permaslahan yang menyebabkan meningkatnya biaya distribusi. Hal itu terjadi karena supir truk memilih rute pengiriman sesuai keinginan mereka sendiri. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan rute distribusi dari depot menuju pangkalan pada PT Burhanudin Ritz menggunakan pendekatan vehicle routing problem with pick-up and delivery (VRPPD) dan metode tabu search. Hasil perhitunggan mengunkan algoritma tabu search mendapatkan total jarak sebesar 2,936.65 Km selama satu bulan. Hasil tersebut dapat memagkas 619.59 Km dari total jarak rute eksisting, sehingga total jarak yang didapatkan juga berpengaruh terhadap biaya distribusi. Maka dengan menggunakan algoritma tabu search didapatkan rute optimasi yang mampu menghemat biaya distribusi sebesar 17% dibandingkan dengan rute eksisting.
