Abstract

Kayangan Api atau dikenal sebagai sumber Api Abadi yang terletak di Desa Sendangharjo, Kecamatan Ngasem, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur merupakan fenomena geologi berupa gas alam yang keluar dari dalam tanah dan di dekat titik semburan gas, terdapat mata air yang menghasilkan bau menyengat karena mengandung belerang. Kondisi tersebut membuat api yang menyala di Kayangan Api hingga saat ini tidak padam. Namun, keberadaan wisata Kayangan Api belum banyak memberikan nilai tersendiri, sebagai wisata budaya kurang memberikan nilai edukasi khususnya bagi Generasi Z. Generasi Z cenderung tertarik untuk berwisata tetapi kurang tertarik saat melakukan wisata ke obyek wisata budaya, hal ini terjadi karena kecenderungan Generasi Z yang bergantung pada teknologi sehingga kurang memperhatikan pada saat berwisata serta kurangnya hal yang mampu menarik minat seperti tidak ada media pendamping dalam melakukan wisata Kayangan Api. Dalam hal ini dibutuhkan perancangan guide book yang berisi cerita sejarah dari Kayangan api, pengenalan wisata, informasi terkait pengelola, biaya, dan saran waktu yang tepat untuk berwisata, guide book ini disajikan dalam gaya ilustrasi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami sehingga dapat berperan sebagai media pendamping bagi wisatawan serta menambah nilai edukasi bagi wisatawan Kayangan Api.
