Abstract

PT Pertamina Lubricants Production Unit Gresik mengganti mesin yang digunakan dalam proses filling lithos ukuran 1 liter dari mesin lama (kuroma) menjadi mesin baru (serac) yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi kecacatan yang terjadi sehingga perusahaan dapat memenuhi target produksi. Namun dalam 2 bulan terakhir, tingkat kecacatan pada proses filling lithos ukuran 1liter masih tinggi. Pada penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu memperbaiki masalah proses produksi, kemudian dari data hasil kecacatan hasil produksi dapat dilakukan analisis serta upaya untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kecacatan menggunakan metode SQC (Statistical Quality Control). Jenis seven tools yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar periksa (check sheet), diagram pareto dan peta kendali (control chart), diagram tulang ikan (fishbone diagram). Jenis kecacatan yang didasarkan pada hasil paling dominan dari diagram pareto yaitu 6 jenis. Dari hasil control chart dilakukan analisis kecacatan diatas batas atas atau UCL. Kemudian fishbone diagram untuk mengetahui faktor terjadinya kecacatan pada botol penyok, stiker sobek, stiker sobek setting mesin, aluminium foil tidak ada, tutup penyok.
