Abstract

Beras merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok yang harus dipenuhi untuk membantu kehidupan manusia. Perum BULOG merupakan salah satu badan yang ditunjuk oleh pemerintah untuk bertanggung jawab dalam mengelola penyaluran tata niaga beras dan menjaga ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Jumlah permintaan beras yang besar dan fluktuatif merupakan salah satu tantangan Perum BULOG untuk tetap menjaga ketersediaan beras di Indonesia. Dalam hal ini, faktor ketidakpastian dapat dipengaruhi oleh suplai dan permintaan beras, sehingga memungkinkan terjadi resiko overstock ataupun lost sales. Tujuan penelitian ini akan dilakukan penentuan kuantitas persediaan beras untuk memenuhi permintaan yang stokastik. Maka akan dilakukan simulasi monte carlo untuk mensimulasikan data permintaan selama 1 tahun dan menggunakan metode exponential smoothing untuk data peramalan harga selama 1 tahun. Penentuan kuantitas persediaan akan menggunakan pendekatan simulasi model matematis dengan tujuan minimasi total biaya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah lakukan, biaya total minimum persediaan beras diperoleh saat skenario permintaan rendah sebesar Rp.19.365.681.072 dengan (Q) sebesar 86,487 dan n=1, pada saat skenario permintaan sedang sebesar Rp.50.445.363.280 dengan (Q) sebesar 235.005 dan n=1, dan saat skenario permintaan tinggi sebesar Rp.72.283.781.852 dengan (Q) sebesar 427.060 dan n=1.
