Abstract

Perseroan Terbatas Perkebunan Nusantara XI disingkat PTPN XI termasuk dalam salah satu korporasi BUMN berbentuk perseroan. PTPN XI merupakan agribisnis perkebunan dengan core business gula melalui tanaman tebu. Perusahaan ini berfokus dalam memproduksi gula kristal putih dengan kontribusi sekitar 16-18% terhadap produksi gula nasional. Sebagian besar bahan baku berasal dari tebu rakyat yang diusahakan oleh petani sekitar melalui kemitraan dengan pabrik-pabrik gula PTPN Group yang di operasikan. Oleh karena kondisi restrukturisasi pada akhir tahun 2022, kini PTPN XI harus membuat langkah baru untuk menunjukan aspek dan kredibilitasnya agar tetap melekat di kalangan umum melalui strategi repositioning. Dalam hal ini diperlukan sebuah strategi untuk memperkokoh value offering baru melalui konten media sosial Instagram @ptpn11 sebagai media informatif dan edukatif yang dikemas dengan visual yang menarik. Pada proses perancangan ini, peneliti menggunakan teori The Circular Model of Some oleh Regina Luttrell dalam buku Media Sosial berjudul How to Engage, Share, and Connect.
